Week 1: June 8th - June 12th

Pre-ASTEME
Get ready for an exciting adventure at our summer camp, where TK kids explore the world of STEM through fun, interactive, and hands-on activities! Our camp is designed to spark curiosity and ignite a love for science, technology, engineering, and math in young learners.
STEM Exploration
In our STEM Exploration camp, children will dive into the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math through a variety of interactive, hands-on activities!
Math Guild

Coding
Get ready for an exciting adventure at our summer camp, where students learn the foundations of coding with program such as Scratch and Python.

Week 2: June 15th - June 19th

Science of Pokemon
This week, students will explore the science of Pokémon through hands-on projects on circuitry, chemistry, and robotics while exploring different Pokémon types!
Minecraft Architecture and Engineering
Get ready for a week where virtual worlds meet real-world engineering, design, and coding challenges inspired by Minecraft and Roblox!
Math Guild
Allan Yu, founder of ASTEME and former director of the UCLA Math Project, leads a Math Readiness Program for grades 3-8 at ASTEME to boost students' math skills and confidence through foundational reviews and hands-on STEM activities.
Orbital Mechanics: Kerbal Space Program
Campers learn orbital physics through mission based challenges in Kerbal Space Program to design and fly planes and rockets.

Week 3: June 22nd - June 26th

KPop Demon Hunters: Elite Battle Science
Campers study combat physics and human performance through KPop inspired battle science while working through movement labs, tech based challenges, and team tactical simulations.
Chemistry Lab 101
Campers learn core chemistry through hands on labs. They study atoms, molecules, reactions, and lab safety while mixing compounds and observing chemical change.
Math Guild

Week 4: June 29th - July 3rd

Science of Wilderness Survival
Get ready for a week of adventure as students learn wilderness survival skills like shelter building, knot tying, and fire-starting through fun outdoor activities.
All-girls STEM Exploration
Girls will explore science, technology, engineering, and math through projects like 3D printing, coding, and physics challenges.
Math Guild

Literary Analysis
Students practice reading and responding to short stories with a focus on middle school standards such as theme, symbolism, and structure.

Week 5: July 6th - July 10th

Greek & Egyptian Mythology: Percy Jackson
Campers study Greek and Egyptian mythology through stories from Percy Jackson, Sadie Kane, and related legends. They’ll analyze gods, heroes, monsters, and myths.
Lego Engineering
Get ready for an exciting summer camp where LEGO and STEM come together in innovative ways!

Campers study human behavior, thinking, and emotions.. They learn how the brain processes information and shapes decisions.

Week 6: July 13th - July 17th

Media Arts: Digital Adventures
Get ready for a week filled with creativity as students explore video production, editing, and podcasting, while learning digital recording and filmmaking techniques!
Science of Harry Potter
Step into a world where Harry Potter meets cutting-edge STEM!
Math Guild

Historical Bookmaking
Campers study how people recorded knowledge from papyrus scrolls to modern zines. They create their own books while learning history, culture, and print.

Week 7: July 20th - July 24th

Science of Pokemon
This week, students will explore the science of Pokémon through hands-on projects on circuitry, chemistry, and robotics while exploring different Pokémon types!
Science of Dungeons and Dragons
Campers study science through a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. They explore physics, biology, and ecology through quests, experiments, and problem solving.
Math Guild

Improv and Monologue
Campers build improv games and performance skills through group activities. They practice creativity, communication, listening, and decision making.

Week 8: July 27th - July 31st

Future Cities: Building and Engineering
Campers design and build future city models while studying infrastructure, energy systems, transportation, and sustainable urban design.
Stop Motion Animation
Campers create stop motion films while learning animation, storytelling, visual design, and frame by frame filmmaking techniques.
Writing through Art
Campers analyze artworks while building formal academic writing skills, studying core art history and writing analytic responses.
Chinese Martial Arts: Science and Language
Campers study Chinese martial arts through science, history, and language, learning movement physics, cultural origins, and key terms.

Week 9: August 3rd - August 7th

Interstellar Exploration
Blast off into an out-of-this-world adventure at our Interstellar Camp, where space-themed activities meet the excitement of math!
Disney+ STEM
Join us for our most popular week of summer camp, culminating in a trip to Disneyland. Embark on a magical STEM adventure, where the captivating worlds of Disney franchises
