The first step to applying for the 2026-2027 school year is to schedule a virtual tour/Q&A with one of our directors. You will have an opportunity during the virtual tour to ask questions and learn about all of the incredible happenings at ASTEME Academy this year.

After the Virtual Open House, keep an eye on your inbox as we will be reaching out to arrange an in-person tour guided by one of ASTEME’s directors. This tour is designed to provide you with an intimate look at our learning environment, engaging classrooms, and the vibrant atmosphere that defines life at ASTEME. We believe that this experience will not only help you get acquainted with our environment but also allow you to ask any additional questions you might have. This also allows us to meet your child and introduce them to our community.

After the in-person tour, the application will unlock in our admissions portal. Please complete this to continue the admissions process.

There is no application fee, and we accept students on a rolling basis.

Our holistic application focuses on your child’s unique strengths and special qualities, rather than emphasizing grades and numerical achievement.

Once we receive your application, we will reach out regarding a shadow day on the ASTEME campus. During this time, they will be paired up with a friend and will participate in our classes, giving them a chance to consider life at ASTEME.

Our mission statement is to provide access and socio-economic, gender, and racial equity in the STEM fields. We pride ourselves in our incredible community of diverse and passionate learners. Our goal is to find like-minded, progressive families who would like to join us on this journey.

• Priority Decision (ASTEME as your primary choice): December 6th
  Families who consider ASTEME their top choice are encouraged to apply for Priority Decision. This option includes early registration and allows us to review the application ahead of the general timeline, providing an admission decision sooner.
• General Admission Decision: March 12th
  Families who apply for General Admission will be considered within a larger pool of applicants. Because space is often limited after the priority round, admission during this cycle can be more competitive.

Students who are waitlisted will be notified of final decision on March 31st.
