ASTEME FAQ

Q What does ASTEME look for in a student?

Every student at ASTEME can find his/her/their niche and his/her/their passion, whether it is through electives offered, the various athletic opportunities, visual and performing arts events, or co-curricular activities. Students have a chance to get involved in the community and develop skills that help them to develop as strong, independent young adults. From debate to Science Olympiad to leadership to robotics, there are so many ways for students to become active members of the community.

Q What type of students do you accept?

ASTEME seeks to attract a diverse student body of students with intellectual curiosity and a wide variety of interests. Students should be willing to contribute to the entire ASTEME community.

Q How will I see the campus and are applicants allowed to visit for the day?

During the application process, families are asked to tour ASTEME with one of our directors. Following the family tour, students are invited to participate in a shadow day to ensure ASTEME is a right fit.
